Our memory preserves different incidents, especially those which strike us in some way but ultimately teach us some lessons. In my childhood days, I used to tell lies now and then to suppress some of my misdeeds. I never faced any serious consequence due to those lies for a long time. So, I became quite accustomed of telling lies casually. But one day that very habit brought about real disaster for me. One of my lies brought tears in my father’s eyes. He had to face humiliation from our relatives because of my lies. I thought a lot, suffered a lot, and ultimately came out of that situation with a great lesson for future-not to tell lies for mere fun or even casually. Probably, I shall never be able to forget that day in my life.
