AN OLD FARMER AND HIS QUARRELLING SONS
There lived an old farmer in a remote village. His sons were very quarrelsome. Often they quarrelled among themselves. It made the farmer very sad. He tried to give his sons a lesson. He brought a bundle of sticks and asked his sons to break the bundle. Each of his sons tried, but in vain. Then the farmer untied the bundle. As a result, his sons easily broke the sticks one after another. Thus the farmer taught his sons the importance of maintaining unity.
Moral:- Unity is strength.
